    I lived there 6 years. How many times have you been asked what high school you went to, only to be met with bafflement when you explain that you attended school outside the st. louis metro area? The high school obsession is real and insane. Complete JV city.

    It's almost difficult to believe he wrote it. Maybe. I do know several people with poor spoken English who are excellent writers. It's not like it was particularly well-written as is and it was posted by a publication that has an editorial staff vs. on his his instagram or something, so I think it's possible that it wasn't ghostwritten. For me it was less of a language thing and more that I doubt any athlete actually wrote it when something like that comes out. Now I'm curious -- why not?

    Same here. We were hoping to move to fulls as well. One year too late, i guess. I'm going to be PISSED if I miss a clinching game in the playoffs due to not having the fulls now. with the money you save on not getting fulls, you can get those playoff tickets :-k This. ~20 extra games at an average of $30 each =$600. That will get 1 NLDS game and maybe 1 NLCS game. That isn't even in the same stratosphere of up to 2 additional World Series Games. Sure but that is a single season view. There are seasons you have paid for that haven't gotten you any WS games.

    Here's where I disagree, I guess. I take my keychain and wallet everywhere from games to work to dates and my headphones at the gym, airport or wherever. I typically only go all logo-ed out at a sporting event where that game is being played or broadcasted. you only wear cubs gear to games (or to watch them at bars or something)? I wear my Cubs hat around obviously but I think a wallet is more of a personal style statement that can't be switched out as frequently as, say, a t-shirt I'm wearing around the house or to the gym.
