  1. Rose playing by himself toward the end there. 0 effort from the rest of the team. Is it that hard to box out Josh McRoberts?
  2. There's nothing wrong with dribble driving and getting fouled, either. He's getting the calls -- why not work on wide-open FTs?
  3. BYU bitches after every call
  4. You don't think that would make him a complete idiot? If you're stupid enough to train with a known performance-enhancing drug provider, you might as well get some of the benefits. so byrd is stupid? I have a hunch that the providers of these substances can get you both legal and illegal. it's not as if Conte is the only guy that's ever provided an athlete with PEDs. Most infamous? Maybe, but that doesn't mean he's the only one. And the fact that his stuff worked so well may suggest that he can be really good with the legal stuff too. Byrd is stupid in the sense that he's drawing a bunch of negative attention to himself by working with Conte. There are thousands of trainers, yet he chooses to work with one who is infamous for running a PED lab. MLB only does urine tests anyway. I'm sure there's a lot of stuff players use that's not detectable without a blood test (e.g., HGH). Is Byrd using any of these? We can't know for sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if he was.

  6. Just because Byrd doesn't test positive doesn't mean he's not using. BALCO has a crapload of stuff that you can't test for (including their 2 most famous products: "The Cream" and "The Clear"). That said, I don't give a [expletive] what he does as long as he produces and does't get suspended.
  7. I'm trying to not get ahead of myself but everytime I think about the sight of Pujols in a Cubs jersey.... :yahoo:
  8. Actually I think the "take it in the Pujols" shirts could continue to be sold, albeit with a different design.
  9. Were the other guys chuckers too?
  10. Miami fans are awful -- how are there this many empty seats?
  11. The clips are funny, but the sketches on the show go on for wayy too long. It's not funny enough to be a 30 min tv program.
  12. It'd be great to pick up Butler. Can he clear waivers though?
  13. So the only factor that comes into play with home-road splits is crowd volume/engagement? I think his point is more that the larger idea of home vs. road environment (ie-noise and what have you) being a factor doesn't really weigh in. If there's a "problem" it's that the Bulls play down to [expletive] teams. That's something we've seen them do plenty of times at home, too, so it's not something restricted to their road games. It's that playing down that's ultimately lead to the mediocre road record. They're not going to do that in the playoffs or against good teams, hence why it's not really a problem so much as being an annoyance. I don't think that's necessarily true. The Bulls could stuggle in a certain type of road environment, regardless of what the UC environment is. Maybe they play well in a neutral or positive arena environment, but struggle in a hostile one (don't think that's true). Or maybe they struggle when they're NOT getting booed loudly on the road (don't "get up" when the road crowd of a crappy team isn't into the game) -- this is more to dexter's latter point.

  16. ? I thought I heard him say something about women on the floor...
  17. A foul? I sadly don't have DVR right now
  18. What the [expletive] was that, Deng?
  19. Boozer getting pwned tonight
  20. Are we going to rotate on defense, or?
  21. i hardly think your posts matter enough to reply to them 62 times. 63!!!
  22. Was just going to post this. "Give me one reason why he's not out of this game right now" Umm, because he was clearly going for the ball?
  23. i'm watching the atdhe.me feed and i gotta say, i agree. The funny thing is how much they love Asik. Could it be... because he's white? :D
