  1. Tell me what on Earth you could need the processing speed of a supercomputer. The benefit is how quick data can be transmitted. There is simply no need for computing data that quickly unless you think we've got all our players armed with bluetooths to be told when to swing and at what trajectory. i think maybe you have no idea what you're talking about. the value of a box like this is that you can run your whole operation on them; i.e. store, manage, consume all of your data, run applications in parallel, as well as user access, etc. it's a huge task, and to be honest, 500k isn't really all that crazy of a spend for a super-specialized stack like this What's the benefit of it beyond near instantaneous processing speed? Who the [expletive] knows? We know nothing about it other than it is super expensive. You really think a bunch of guys that (I would presume) you believe to be fairly intelligent, thoughtful people just spent half a million on a computer simply because "it goes real fast?" they did spend $5M on a david ross

  7. Aroldis
  8. If Pierce Johnson only pitched to Almora, where would the BB% stabilize? i throw out the early-season stuff, knowing he had an injury, and his trajectory and profile reminds me some of Matt Clement
  9. Pierce Johnson

  16. you forgot the good news, though Derrick Goold @dgoold · 12m #Cardinals will make a safe driver available to major leaguers "no questions asked" probably a wise investment

  18. this pick goes to Kid Rodelo now
  19. (for me) hitting in the FSL checks off a big uncertainty for a prospect, and Torres has a lot to do to even get to that point; mostly a personal bias, though wouldn't surprise me too much to see McKinney & Torres showing up in top-50 lists a year from now
  20. oh hey our JV squad just beat the 12th-best team in the country, wire to wire
