    Will people lay off Macias? I mean, he's hit .287, and is pretty good off the bench. He's filling in his role pretty damn good if I say so myself.

    Yea, but just because all the cool teams are doing it. Mariano Rivera is the only guy left that can wear #42, right? Personally, I think retiring 42 for all 30 teams was ridiculous. The only team that should have it retired is the Dodgers. Let players wear it on the other 29 teams to honor Robinson. Pardon my stupidity, but was retiring 42 for all the teams another one of Bud Selig's bright ideas? Yes.

    Where would you put him? In center? Lawton on the bench? Padilla is a righty, and at least Holly isn't playing. He could start Burnitz in CF and Lawton in RF, but that would make him play a rookie and rookies are bad.

    The only way I want Patterson in Wrigley is if he's playing on another team. Of course Hendry thinks he's the greatest thing since sliced bread.

    I hate having to be out of market and having to pay $100+ to see the games on TV. Especially having to stay in one place to watch the game. It really gets annoying. I think they should go back to having all the games on WGN and putting all the Sox games on CSN. After all, who has the bigger national audience?

    Lawton has good speed. He generally gets about 25 SBs or more when he plays a full year. Yup, he has 16 steals so he should be able to play CF.

I used "Dusty" and "sense in the same sentence) to use one of the first 2 alignments. From My Blog.

    I don't like how the Dusty/Hendry lovers keep saying this is just like making a trade. It isn't. Hendry thinks everything is fine (unrealistically).

    Lee has been slumping and needs a rest, we should give him a rest tomorrow and start Walker at first, Hairston at 2B, and Gerut in RF w/Burnitz in CF. Sound good?

    I hate how Dusty always tries to concede the run. Especially in a close game. In 6-0 (other team winning) blowouts, he'll pull the infield in.
