I have been a Brownlie fan from the outset. As such, this excerpt is particularly interesting/encouraging to me. If he does project to be in the Maddux mold, it would be nice if he got to spend some time around Greg. Maddux would likely have a larger impact on Brownlie than a Wood or Zambrano. Oh, and thanks for the great reads, Mark. Your efforts, along with everyone's, are appreciated. I love hearing that, Mark. Brownlie is officially "my guy" in the Cubs' system. Great updates. Mark, Jon, everyone that posted here, thank you so much. It's so neat to have a chance to know what goes on at the convention without actually being there.

Noc blocked a shot from the corner, and as the ball was falling out of bounds Chandler saved it over his head into Hinrich, who pushed it up to Noc who fed it cross court to Curry who made a sweet move and layed it in. Then, in the inbounds play, the knicks went inside and got swatted by Chandler, who ran into the crowd and went insane. great win, i can't remember the last time I yelled at the tv during a bulls game!

Tim, You could edit out the FA's that have already been signed and replace them with another FA on the ballot. It would be a little work, but it would reward the early entrants by giving them a higher amount of possible points, and it wouldn't totally punish the late entrants, b/c they still have 50 FA's to choose from. Just a thought.

Bulls lose by 10 at Indiana tonight (good for you, JC :wink: ), but a good effort w/o thier best defensive big man, bet offensive big man, and without thier best player for the last 10 minutes (Heinrich). Deng looks like he's going to be scary, Scottie Pippen good, and the team plays real hard. Even Ben Gordon had a decent game, which will be good for the kid's confidence. I see 30 wins, and next year I see playoffs barring no injuries.
