  1. Sorry, that's [expletive]. Did they change that challenge rule?
  2. Well...if this review is called like the rest of the game has been, it'll be overturned
  3. That spot doesn't remotely make up for the pile of missed penalties.
  4. Well then...that was awful. Maybe Philly makes a mistake early and lets us back in it.
  5. Yep. The Hester fumble above all else. I'm glad he was great and all, but I can't wait til he's gone.
  6. Not that they've been helping themselves, but one could plausibly bitch about 2 PI calls, and 2 roughing calls that have been missed.
  7. I'd like to think that if they can stop them here and get a td before halftime, that they'd have a chance
  8. Jesus, this is a shitshow
  9. Sigh. Are there any other decent offensive FA's out there of note?
  10. The Lions are so reliably stupid and undisciplined. Its a joy to watch.
  11. The Bears actually run less to the edge than I would like. The OL (especially Long) is good blocking on the move, and then the WRs, even Earl. I also wonder why the Bears don't switch up some things. I'd like to see the Jeffery reverse with Earl Bennett running with Marshall and Jeffery blocking. Or a WR screen to Jeffery with Marshall and Bennett blocking. Cutler would find a way to hand off/pass to Marshall instead if they tried both of those plays.
  12. I'm not sure how you can say that the BaleCash wasn't misspent. They blew it all on unproven (EPL wise) players. A smarter decision would have been to buttress the continental players brought in with some EPL-experienced players to help in the transition. Instead, he outthought himself and has a boring team that can't score.
  13. I have a 5 minute commute to my office. In those 5 minutes, I made the mistake of turning on The Score. I heard: -Cutler is no different than Rex -The offense under McCown was "a buffet", now its a "one-course meal-just Brandon Marshall" -All Jay cares about is himself. -No one will ever win with Jay -We need someone to control the ball and manage the game
  14. [expletive] Jeffrey. Cheat Code does it again.
  15. Its not like they would use them correctly within 2 minutes anyway.
  16. No pressure, Jay. Just save the season and any hope at a contract here.
  17. Basically, they have to stop them on this next series, right?
  18. Cleveland's defense is good. It doesn't excuse the 3 or 4 bad throws that led to 10 CLE points, but they aren't a sieve.
  19. What will be lost in the post game [expletive] show sure to come is that Cleveland's defense is good, and not theoretical like Dallas'.
  20. So this isn't going well at all.
  21. The backup generally has the advantage of not having film or having the defense prepped for him. Cutler wouldn't have that opportunity. The good news is that the Browns are probably too feeble to take advantage of it. In any case, the last time Cutler was sent into start coming back from injury he clearly wasn't healthy and was summarily executed by the Lions. That's worrisome enough. USS is completely unhinged and goony is making an argument that is one step removed from "COUNT TEH RINGZ!1one" You're assuming I'm doing anything but pointing out logical fallacies.
  22. DO YOU REALLY WANT OLD MAN CUTLER WITH HIS FINGER ON THE BUTTON?
  23. Because he's Roy Hobbs; duh. Also, don't let contradicting facts get in the way of a ridiculous argument.
  24. I want Cutler at $15-16 million or a franchise tag. Over $16 million let him walk. Just not worth it unless Jay leads the team to the NFC Champ game this year. Keep McCown as a backup since Jay is always hurt. Saying Jay has been outplayed this year doesn't mean I don't want him next year. But he has to put up better numbers these last three games. Having two QBs is a good problem to have. Both QBs can win Sunday. Even though I would play Jay Sunday if he can make all the throws, I'm just a little more confident with McCown. Jay isn't 100% and with this horrible Bears defense you can't turn the ball over. That has always been Jay's biggest weakness. And yet with Cutler and his weakness the Bears were still doing very well this year despite the defense. I just don't get why people talk like the team suddenly upgraded when McCown took over. Uh because they did in every offensive category for the time being? So the fact that they were playing terrible defenses matters not?
  25. Between Marshall's quote on Monday and this, your inability to understand the English language is startling. Then help me out. Don't bother posting if you aren't going to make a point. I still read Jay as being jealous of all the attention Josh is getting and trying to point out that he is not as good as his stats suggest. He isn't as good as his stats suggest.
