    In today's SunTimes, Ozzie basically called out the whole team, saying if they didn't do the necessary things to win, changes would be made in the line up. So, who would you rather have managing the Cubs? Mod: I think I need help forming this poll.

    No not at all. I think it is time to reward Dusty with a 10 year, $100 million contract for all of his fine leadership and stunning use of the double switch.

    On the TBS telecast they said that Pierre was ZERO for 21 with runners in scoring position and two outs. Quite impressive.

    Dusty's lineup looks like he is thinking, well I didn't get fired yesterday on the off day, so I can make any lineup and continue to lose without the chance of losing my job. Sad day (and season) for Cub fans.

    The Cubs frequently struggle with the weaker teams. We'll probably sweep the Cardinals and Dusty will get his extension then.

    On WGN TV, they said the Cubs have to get back to playing "fundamental" baseball. I guess that they were talking about pre-Dusty Cubs baseball.

    Strikes out four in the first two innings. Then injured throwing a warm up pitch before the third inning.

    Nah, it's much more simple than that. No conspiracies going on. The fact is Jim and Andy don't have a clue about what is wrong with the Cubs and what needs to be done to fix it. I don't really think Jim and Andy think there is anything wrong. It's just all bad luck. Wow! That might actually be true. It would explain some things. If this is the case, the Cubs may never be a contending team year in and year out.

    Have to get to the playoffs first in order to win a World Series. Don't see it happening until long after Dusty's next two year extension. :evil:

    I think they show scantily clad women and rate bad baseball managers equally well.
