I have him pegged to go to UK, but KU would be my 2nd guess. I find it very unlikely he'll got to UT. He won't end up at Iowa for fear of being lost in all that talent.
I have to wonder how all of these reports are coming out. They have a private company making calls trying to gauge interest in the position. Nobody is getting offered an interview (let alone the job) if there is not mutual interest. Plus, I would hope like hell that they wouldn't have interest in Marshall to begin with.
Because in some ways he is much like Rich Rodriguez in that he isn't as good as his hype says he is. He isn't a bad coach, and neither is Grant (who I think will bolt Bama at the first opportunity, mind you) but Bama needed a guy like Grant moreso then Smith. Tubby has been a successful head coach for 20 years. Rodriguez had a successful 6 year run with West VA other than that and some other stuff, they're pretty much the same
