FWIW, the LA Times is owned by the Tribune Co. True, But I still find it odd that its been close to an hour and NO other media source has reported it except the LA times has reported this. I just noticed that Chicagosports.com took down the article they reported around 8:pm tonight. I wonder what's up with that??? What did that article say? I believe the title was something like "Furcal holds the Key..." I guess that didn't sit too well with the Trib.

I'll check with my source and get back with you. But you have to understand...my source is at the Hooters in West Monroe communicating by text messaging with a Hooters girl in the Hooters on Well St. And amazingly the Hooters girls seem to be better spellers than the fake Len Kasper. LMAO! :lol: :lol: :lol:

So are the ticket takers, it doesn't mean they associate with each other as well. I'm sorry, I don't see Hendry discussing it with anyone execpt those directly involved with the signing (scouts, assistant GM, agent, the player, etc). I don't place Kasper in the inner circle. Just as odd would be Kasper breaking it before it happens, doesn't make sense at any angle. That does make some sense. I agree...

That would be me. Len told me earlier tonight that he's "100%" sure that Furcal is coming to the Cubs and it may not be announced until Monday. He is expected to sign mid-day Sunday. He also said Pierre is more than likely on the way. Welcome! Ok, and Len heard this directly from Jim Hendry? yes- at first i didnt believe him and he replied that he's very good friends with Jim Hendry. + he wouldnt talk to me for 2 hours and tell me bogus stuff. I've talked to him before on AIM too. Wow, thanks for sharing!

I'd have a tendency to believe AramisFan if he says he talked to Len over PM, actually. I agree. I can't imagine someone with over 1,500 posts on this board all of a sudden starting a bogus rumor. A lie like that would be like signing your own virtual execution papers. I must confess that I'm now worried about the terms of the contract with reports of $13m/year from LA. Question is, would Aramisfan be willing to stake his membership on NSBB for this??? :lol: I guess he is... :wink:

Okay, how has nobody pointed out that it's only as low as 78% because of one particularly bad year, and that it hasn't dipped below 82% in any year for the past three? I was going to but it wasn't that important. He was under .500 one year stealing. I noticed it when I looked at his number earlier. The guy is a good base stealer. That's been acknowledged. -
I guess my first question is why wait until tomorrow if it's 100%? Unless he plans to have a press conference with Hendry.
