Nomar was offically 0-1, with a run scored, and two walks. His night is over and so is his rehab with the Chiefs. He's probably headed to AA next.

Dusty Baker is not going to be fired. The Cubs would have to pay him 4 million dollars to go fishing. This isn't Cincy, that's not going to happen. If we can pay Sammy $12 million to play in Baltimore this year, why can't we buy out Dusty's contract and send his fat butt packing? Dusty's money has already been spent. He has $16 mil of Cubs money. If he were to be fired it would have been earlier in the season (before the Break). There's really no reason to shake things up during a critical stretch of the season. Besides, Hendry and MacPhail have already given him a vote of confidence.

Prior to coming here the Diamond backs won back to back series against the Braves and Brewers so they are streaking abit. I don't expect the Cubs to win every game but they need to win this series.

In fact, if you just look at the starters for the Astros/Mets series it's hard to argue against the Mets taking 2 of 3. The Astros are 33-14 at home, best record in the majors. Not that hard to argue. :) Besides, the Mets might pass the Cubs if they win 2 of 3. I'm more concerned in general about both the Mets and Astros than the Nationals. The Astros home record means nothing if good pitching shuts them down. The Astros best guys just pitched against the Phillies plus, they have owned PA all year. I look for the Mets to win tonight.

It's a brand of doll. There's a special place for it downtown, where you can have lunch with your doll, and other such nonsense. And I know this because I have 3 younger sisters, weirdos. LOL@weirdos It's fun for little girls. No biggie
