    With Craig back, Iowa's lineup is unstoppable. I can only imagine what will happen when Kroeger comes back. LEGENDARY! :shock: HARVEY IS ALIVE! 2 for 4, HR, 2 RBI, 2 R CF Wyatt needs a double to complete the cycle for Boise and its only the 5th inning!

    I swear I never heard of strained obliques until the last 2 years or so. Now it seems like its the most common injury out there. It's a lot more common and worse for pitchers. Babe Ruth and his beer-belly are laughing at these guys from heaven.

    I think it was just because Richie played C, Soto played 1B and Fox was pushed to RF. And has something gotten in to Daytona's RF Ryan Harvey? He went 3 for 4 with a R today and raised his average to .222

    I'm pretty excited that Matt Craig is back for Iowa. He played 3B, walked 2 times and scored a run. It's not like Iowa needed to get any better, but he improves the team immensely.

    Interesting OF for Iowa today: Coats in LF E-Patt in CF Pie in RF It's also Coats jersey t-shirt giveaway day. I want one! Jennie Finch's husband Casey Daigle pitching for the mini d-backs. Iowa needs Craig and Kroeger to come back. John Nelson sucks.

    Daytona becomes less and less exciting to follow every day. Oh well Tennessee gets more much-needed talent. Camp has to be one of my favorite minor-leaguers. Smokies have a great pitching staff now.

    Anybody have info on Jeffrey Rea, our 2007 18th rounder from Mississippi St? He was 4 for 5 yesterday with a triple. He's hitting .395/.435/.512 through 13 G in Daytona. He's also been playing CF, 2B & LF the last few games.

    Tomorrow. He's scheduled to go more than one inning, which seems to be the last hurdle for him to clear before returning to the Cubs. Does anybody go through Iowa anymore? Tenn -----> Chicago -----> Iowa every time. Are the Cubs a AA 1/2 A team?

    Koyee went 0 for 5 last night with 4 strikeouts. If he can't hit MLB pitching at all, why is he up here? .167/.233/.288 .167 AVG is DEAD LAST in the NL for catchers with 80+ ABs In the AL he is better than KC's backup Jason LaRue (.158) .233 OBP is DEAD LAST in the MLB for catchers with 80+ ABs .288 SLG is DEAD LAST in the NL for catchers with 80+ ABs In the AL he is better than: Tampa's Dioner Navarro (.285), Toronto's backup Jason Phillips (.278) & Baltimore's backup and former Cub Paul Bako (.273) Is he really our best defensive catcher? Is Henry Blanco better than him offensively and defensively? Who calls a better game? I know its "Moneyball" to think that a catcher's defense can be a little questioned as long as the guy can at least get on base and get some XBH's. But come on to survive in the NL we need a better guy up here. Soto?

    I think the hot weather must have affected Soto. He goes back to playing Catcher in 96 F weather after playing 1B the last 2 games. 0 for 5. Kroeger and Craig lost in the mix didn't play 3 games in a row (is Kroeger hurt?). Pie & E-Patt both 0 for 5.
