    So in less than half the number of at bats, murton has more walks and just half the doubles? And he plays better defense? And he's faster? And he's younger? I just don't see any justification for Murton not starting.

    Who?! I can't think of anyone on the station smart enough... I know! The other guy was pulling out all the cliches, but it was amazing to hear that on air. I'm just shocked. I may never listen to 670 again.

    Wow, on ESPN 1000 one of the guys is tearing apart the "choking" and "clutch" "nonsense". This is great. I can't believe it. And now he's saying "the best numbers in baseball are OBP and SLG". Tearing apart Arod "choking when the chips are down".

    WHAT?! This is weird. I hadn't heard anything about Colvin being injured, and to promote Smardz so early.....jeez I don't know. I'm just hoping he doesn't completely bomb out.

    Not Benson at all? It would put us in a horrible RB position....I am not confident at all that AP can pull full-time weight.

    Last year about this time everyone was saying "If anyone thinks the Yankees will be outbid for Matsuzaka, you're smoking something." True, but Matsuzaka is a different deal. For Santana, he is clearly established as the top pitcher in baseball. Unlike Dice-K, who while a great Japanese player, was a potential pumpkin like Igawa. Also, the bidding is not blind, and you can be sure George doesn't want to let anyone else have that prize. I'm sure if the Yankees knew the extent of the BoSox bid, they would have beaten it.

    I heard this on the radio the other day, and would like to know what you guys think. List the top 5 guys, in order, that the Bears CANNOT lose to injury. My uneducated and uniformed guess: 1) Benson 2) Grossman 3) Urlacher 4) Kreutz 5) Berrian?
