    We were arguing before about how there were not catchers you could get that would be equal value to him I said there were. They asked me to name them. I did. Some of them are so superior to MB we would have to sell the farm to get them with him.

That's like saying Pierre sucks and I would trade him straight up for Damon, Sizemore, Griffey, Andrew Jones, or Beltran. I just argued that there were several catchers I would rather have. I have never tried to say he sucks. You said "I would trade Barrett for a number of catchers straight up.", not there were others who are better. You didn't get that was what I meant. Wow.

    I can think of a number of third basemen I'd trade Aramis Ramirez for straight up: 1. Alex Rodriguez 2. David Wright 3. Miguel Cabrera 4. Mike Schmidt 5. Javy Lopez Javy Lopez could still catch as well as Barrett.

    Doesn't anyone find it strange that all of our pitchers prefer pitching to Blanco? Once we brought in Barrett our pitchers eras have all went up from what they were with Miller.

    He's good. But, being able to catch comes into play when you are in fact a catcher.

    Neifi really battled not to take a walk though. Yes he did. He fouled a bunch of bad pitches off then hit a bad pitch straight up in the air. He saved us from a walk.

Barrett is a good hitter, but how many games has he just killed us? Like with the play at Philadelphia when he threw to third when he could have reached out to tag Rollins.     That's harsh, would you rather have Piazza? 5 years ago Piazza yes, now no. If you're referring to the relay throw, that was a really tough short-hop. I just watched Bako make the same play look easy for the Royals.

    hopefully it's not serious..I have him on 2 of my fantasy teams. Lee walks, 1st and 2nd with 2 outs. He should pry take tomorrow off just to be safe.
