    Well I guess we have to baby their arms then. Not letting our starters consistently throwing 120+ pitches isn't babying them in the slightest. That's an exaggeration and oversimplification of the argument. Wait you mean letting Prior throw 130 pitches in the playoffs with a 9-0 lead against the Marlins wasn't necessary?

    We have always done well in the system with pitchers, once they get to the big legues though Dusty likes to destroy their arms. Who's arm has dusty destroyed? Wood, Prior, Fox off the top of my head. EDIT: And then there was the time he accidentally used Bobby Brownlie's ligaments as catfish bait.... Wood and Prior? First off Wood has been destroyed since highschool, and as far as I know Prior has never had surgery right? Also is Running into Giles or taking a line drive off the elbow is Dusty's fault? In 2003 Wood's arm was fine that year coupled with 04 and the pitcher abuse he put on Kerry have essentially ended his career. Pitcher abuse crap proves nothing! I'm sick of all that talk. Power pitchers get hurt...From Beckett to Burnett to Ben Sheets. Every pitcher is different. Right and when abused they are more likely to get hurt. Well I guess we have to baby their arms then. No you don't have to, but when they last two years and become shells of themselves don't blame the pitchers.

    I'd trade them our starting CF for their sub. :lol: I know. I would love to have a Freel, Hall tye on our team. Too bad Hendry doesn't value those guys. It's too bad those kind of guys are hard to find Isn't that what Bellhorn was/is? Yeah but what did he hit in 03 for the cubs? I dont think he even came close to hitting his weight and was replaced by Lenny Harris who did great things.
