  1. My favorite Cardinal of all time was John Rodriguez. In two years with the Cardinals I had over a .800 OPS. I leave them, I am out of baseball.
  2. It is true, though. No hist Sherlock. They are here too. I guess we have different definitions of astronomical. Soriano playing LF makes me lol I think he is amazing here, and would be better there. But, it wasn't like Joe was on to something that none of us don't already know.
  3. On a related note, I wish Cameron Diaz would get hit by a train.
  4. I was like I am just a little slap hitter and then Mark said hey you look like you have a head ache let me give you something for that. Then, boom >.800 OPS.
  5. Thats a bit much.... Besides Z, who do we have near as good as Rich once he is figured out? Gallagher is as good as Dempster and Marquis. I am betting Hart isn't too far from them. Once Hill figures things out, he'll be back in Chicago. We hope.

  7. We alsmot have a better rotation in Iowa than we do here. Especially if we wouldn't have brought gallagher up.
  8. We had Hamilton for about an hour. I know we couldn't keep him, but still.
  9. I might be an idiot, but I think Cleveland gets them. I think they are a decent team that would have been about 7th best in the West. 7th in the West? They have LeBron but they're not that good outside of him. I realize they made the Finals last year with just LeBron and a bunch of role players, but I don't think there's any chance they get past Boston in the second round. No I mean Boston as 7th in the West. Really? Yeah I like all the four teams left and Phoenix and Dallas better than them. I like the big three, but after that I don't. Rondo and Perkins are just bleh. Well, they played 30 games against the West this year. They went 25-5. So that means that in the other 22 games against the West and the 30 games against the East you'd have them going 26-26? Boston may not dominate in the playoffs (although there is certainly plenty of history for a team struggling in one round and then coming back and plying well in later rounds), but they didn't win 66 games just by being in the East. They thoroughly dominated both conferences during the season by being the most consistent team. I never said I was right. I just don't think they are that good. I think they were able to beat up on a bad East and take the West games more seriously than the West teams did against them.
  10. Guys we can't scew the stats to our advantage unless Pie sits against crappy righties. He will start again when we face a pitcher like Sheets or Wainwright. It's like we did with Karros and Choi.
