  1. Kinda, for one more game. There I fixed it. Are all your recruits gonna qualify now? From what Ive recently heard, yes. hopefully no one took the tests for them. There was a rumor that John Wall wasnt going to qualify and therefore play pro ball in Greece but turns out that was just a rumor. I recieved some bad news on Tuesday from my source in lexington telling me that our redshirt 4-star foward Matt Pilgrim and juco transfer point guard Kevin galloway are leaving Kentucky. They both could have been great players under Cal. If we can get jodie back we have a chance at a final four without him we are a Sweet 16 caliber team. Wall is the only one in real doubt though, right?

  3. It's the Jim Hendry way. Don't you dare question the team hes built. it's not jim hendry, it was a-holes like moises alou who complained when stone criticized them. Ok who runs the broadcasters? It was there fault then.

  5. Well yeah I too would like to see the Pirates win the division, but that ain't happening. I find it harder to root for Dusty than I do the Red birds.
  6. How long until Hendry does something to let us know he is alive?
  7. I just don't want the Brewers to win it. I am sick of their bush league behavior. I would pull for the Cardinals before them. I will take a team of asses that are legitimate players over having to watch the parade of magically good crappy baseball players in St. Louis play postseason baseball. There is no more legitimate player than Albert Pujols. The reason they are competitive is a testament to how good Albert is. If Ryan Ludwick, Chris Duncan, Kyle Lohse, Todd Wellemeyer et al. performed like they should, it wouldn't matter how good Pujols was. There's no doubt he helps, probably more than any one single player helps anyone, but he can't be responsible for everything. Um they are this year. Sans Lohse.

That still takes nothing away from how good Pujols is and how if you took him off that team they would be the Kansas City Royals.

  10. I just don't want the Brewers to win it. I am sick of their bush league behavior. I would pull for the Cardinals before them. You must not live in Missouri, haha. I don't, but have a ton of family who are Cards fans. Even with that, I still would rather the Cards win the division. I could never pull for the Cardinals over anybody unless it helped the Cubs in the standings (not even a Yankees or White Sox vs. Cardinals WS), but that's just me. Why? I mean I don't like them when they are getting lucky performances to hurt our chances, but our team isn't going anywhere this season. If we suck I could care less if they take advantage of that. The Brewers are a joke, they have been ok the last couple of years, not better than us but ok. Yet they trot around like they are the best thing since sliced bread. It isn't just us that feel that way either. Act like you've been there before.

  12. Why couldn't the Twins have taken Mark Prior? Because that would have been far less soul-crushing. Don't you know that? Although if the Twins had taken Prior and the Cubs Mauer, Prior would have 3 Cy Youngs by now, and Mauer would be languishing in the minors somewhere. Probably. I imagine we would have taken tex then anyways.
  13. Why couldn't the Twins have taken Mark Prior? Seriously the kids a stud.

  15. I love that Hoff and Fox can't really ever play on this team that is desperate for offense, yet our no hit guys who are supposed to be able to field can. Even though they haven't really fielded all that well.
  16. it was bound to happen. When you go out there thinking you can't give up a run or you lose, its gotta get to him. He'll probably be begging to go back to Iowa so he can win a game again. Yes I am sure he is just dying to get demoted.
  17. Yes, Brenly is starting to crack. Please go all Steve Stone on the team.
  18. they drew terribly in the late 90s but were a terrible team. they became competitive and then moved up to the middle of the pack among AL teams in attendance. the marlins and devil rays were much bigger jokes; the twins should never have been on the contraction list. The Marlins and Rays were both pretty new and in a market that baseball wants. No way was Bud going after them.
  19. That's because he isn't a centerfielder and isn't at all comfortable out there.
  20. Yep, let's really put this out of reach here.
