It certainly couldn't have been for money reasons, they could've gotten more money from the County. That was one of the worst public funded deals ever I've probably gone to 20 games over the years in Atlanta and it's always just a miserable experience. Either it's blazing hot or it's wet or it's wet AND hot, which is of course the worst. Other than the couple of playoff games I've been to there, I've never been to a Braves game that was packed out and I'm pretty sure a large part of that is due to just how uncomfortable it is most of the time.
