    Aren't they ripping off the "Who Dey?" of last year's Bengals? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. The Bengals are the ones who ripped it off. "Who Dat?" comes from a song that came out in 1981 called "Who dat say dey gonna beat dem Saints?"

    Kinda like how the Bears barely squeaked by the Bucs at home? No reason for the Saints to be be bragging about how they beat the Eagles. They won a tight game, as did the Bears. All I hear is how the Bears bearly beat the Seahwaks. Let's get it on. What Saints fans are bragging? We're thankful we got past the Eagles. Fair enough. Maybe I am reading/seeing too much media crap. We've got an entire week of all this horsepoop. Well, I am surrounded by lifelong Saints fans and we hate this media-Katrina related bullsh*t. Just imagine if, god-forbid, a terrorist attack happened in Chicago, and two years later the Cubs had a GREAT team and finally got to the World Series. We'd be pissed about all the "they're playing for the city" stuff, wouldn't we?

    Just don't pin ANY of that on Saints fans and think we want to win because of that or think that we should win because of Katrina. We want people to know that we are a good TEAM, not a good story. So, don't take that out on Saints fans. We are like Cubs fans in a sense.

Do you mean the meaningless regular season game after the Bears already clinched? :lol: Bears hadn't clinched yet and besides, hurling around that the Saints barely squeaked past the Eagles at home really isn't an insult considering that the Bears barely squeaked past the Seahawks at home, a team that is arguably inferior to the Eagles.

    All I know is, there aren't many Saints fans who give a crap about the "feel-good" story. We don't want to be the cinderalla team, we want respect for being a good football team.

    Worse defense? The Saints defense is ranked 4th in the NFC, with Seattle at 9th. Saints gave up 4.9 ypc this year, only team worse was the Colts. They did do well in ypc passing, but they gave up a 2nd worse 26 TD passes. I will give you that they are better statistically than Seattle. But I'm more confident with the Bears O against the Saints D than the Seahawks....especially outdoors. Well, I'll give you that. However, I think at this point the Saints O is better than the Bears D. Especially considering y'alls last few games. You'll have the top passing offense in the NFL up against a defense that, not counting this last game, has given up 283 yds and 3td's to Kitna, 268 yds and 3td's to Rattay, and 356 yds and 3td's to Bulger. Your secondary is suffering.

    I was sooooooooooo scared after that, I even spilled my drink I was so shocked. The good thing is that Reggie is a pretty tough guy despite his reputation for being someone who doesn't like contact.

    I was just stunned that they did that. The way we were running the ball, I don't understand how they think they could have stopped us from getting a first down.

    Up to 98, in just 11 seasons, he hit 374 homers, 1750 hits, had a .315 lifetime BA, stole 417 bases, and had an OBP of .442. Pretty extraordinary.

    I certainly understand that. Personally, I think more of the "unanimous" talk should have gone Gwynn's way rather than Ripken's. He was the best hitter since Ted Williams. Plus it's interesting to note that Gwynn has the same career fielding percentage as Ken Griffey Jr.

    Seriously? Career .276/.340/.447/.787, 112 OPS+ doesn't exactly scream baseball legend to me, even accounting for his position. Did you know his career fielding percentage was higher than Ozzie Smith's? Speaking of fielding percentages, I was just looking at Omar Vizquel's stats. If Ozzie Smith is in the hall of fame then so should Vizquel. Omar's lifetime fielding percentage is .6 higher than Ozzie's. He's already got more hits than Smith ever had, and his lifetime .BA is 14 points higher.
