Well if Houston Nutt is ever gonna take the chains off Masoli, now would be the time to do it. The offensive playcalling this year for the Rebels has been completely ridiculous given that they have a quarterback like Masoli. The times when Nutt actually calls plays that suit Masoli, they score points. But Nutt insists on playing smashmouth run up the middle football until it is too late in the game for Masoli to do much good. So hopefully he will actually let him play this weekend. Ole Miss' offensive strength this year has been their passing game with Masoli and our young and extremely athletic wide receiving corps. AU's great weakness this year has been their secondary, so let's see if Nutt is smart enough to exploit that. Ole Miss' only chance is to just win a shootout because their D isn't going to stop Newton. A shootout is the only scenario where I see them winning. The only way to do that is to not run the ball up the middle for three quarters like he has done all year.

I think I can say with a reasonable degree of certainty that the Cubs are second only to to the Braves in Mississippi. The Cardinals are up there too, but large amounts of Cubs fans are everywhere even deep down in Dixie.

Disagree. A mediocre (at best) Ole Miss team came close to beating Bama in Tuscaloosa. Auburn can and I think will beat them.

Nitpick, but I thought Texas was #3 in population behind California and New York. not according to the Wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_U.S._states_and_territories_by_population

The Rangers might draw surprisingly well. Dallas has like six million people and Texas is the 2nd most populace state (of course many of them could be Astros fans). Also I know there are alot of Rangers fans sprinkled throughout Louisiana.

Do you work for FOX or TBS? Why do you care about ratings? It's not like if they get lower ratings, or even much lower ratings, that they won't televise those games. Hell, they televise girls volleyball and billiards on TV. So how does lower ratings affect you as a fan?

You sound like an old man. So what if a game ends at midnight? If you really want to watch the game a person can stay up a little later if they normally go to bed earlier than that. Big deal.
