  1. Looking for positives - apparently the scratched cornea is no longer an issue.
  2. At least that bad first inning hasn't hurt.
  3. what do i win? You get to take Roast to Prom.
  4. Are people that desperate to complement him that he gets credit for catching a line drive hit right at him? Western Springs, IL is going to kick New Albany's butt on Wednesday night on their way to Williamsport.
  5. She's hot, why are you complaining? Because if she gets any more unearned exposure she'll have to change her name to Paris.
  6. Over/under on the number of times Glavine's wife is on camera in the ninth inning = 9 times
  7. She couldn't make it. No wonder they haven't been showing her.
  8. Anybody know if Tim Glavine's wife is at the game tonight?
  9. Worst defensive outfield in baseball. Congrats to Glavine on # 300.
  10. Maybe Kendall can give Pagan throwing lessons.
  11. Give me a break. Dempster is a poor excuse for a closer - I don't care what his "stats" say. He is an accident waiting to happen. He can't throw strikes with his slider and players are just waiting to pound his 2 -0 and 3 - 1 fast balls. He's gotten lucky for a long time now (hence his misleading save numbers) but Lou can't put up with his high wire act much longer. A good closer has control and strike out capability. Demspter has neither and should never close another game for the Cubs.
  12. Sounds to me like the Cubs are starting to get into the Brewers heads.
  13. Lou said on Comcast that Marshall has a scratched cornea and in hindsight probably should not have pitched today as it bothered him considerably. Maybe this explains his poor performance today.
  14. Talk about a 1927 Yankees-like lineup of heavy hitters. With this group of Chicago powerhouses as partners, his connections to Selig and a competitive bid, Cannning is just about a lock.
  15. Cub fans owning the Cubs will become a reality sometime between when the team acquires Cabrera and Santana and signs ARod.
  16. Brewers play this afternoon.
  17. Your mom. good one - guess it was you -Lou doubter
