    Funny thing is that in an interview on ESPN 1000 this week jake was asked his optimal defense when pitching and he listed Contreras as catcher. Not that it means anything. I think we are looking too hard for excuses for Jake, but I will defer to the people I've quoted whose opinions I trust who is making excuses? we're just grasping at straws to try to optimize his starts as much as possible. He probably understands that his son was a horsefeathering drunk too.
