i agree. No one knows for sure what El Duque's age is and many people think he's at least 40. He has been very injury prone this year and you never know what your going to get from Contreras...one start he can be real good, the next, he can walk 8-9 guys. A rotation of Buehrle-Burnett-Garland-Garcia come playoff time would be pretty scary to say the least.

well i'm more than thrilled that we didn't get Preston Wilson and just as thrilled that we didn't get Byrnes. Now let's hope Hendry can pull off the mid-season magic once again and get Dunn.

Ramirez certainly gave a crap tonight. 3 RBI including a 2-run homer. yeah forgot about him...he was pretty disgusted in game 1 today.

Novoa's ERA coming into tonight was around 2.50. Glendon Rusch is getting rocked as well. I hate to say it, but I'd trade him..he's the odd man out in the rotation and he's not nearly as good of a bullpen pitcher as he is as a starter. and Dusty making a double switch in the 8th inning, down by 4. Very smart tough guy.
