    You do realize that pretty much every game in the past 3 weeks would be a loss if our starter only gave up 4 runs in 8IP i realize that our offense has been most of the blame lately. Maddux did a good job recovering from the homer in the 1st inning.

    I'm sure glad I'll miss most of the rest of this train wreck of a season, engineered by none other than one, Dusty Baker. It's become hysterical at this point. It has. I'm slowly easing into the "funny" part. Teams really ought to be fined by the GM's if they would lose a series to the Cubs at this point. I'm honestly thinking a good college team could beat the Cubs 2 of 3 at this point. im also going into the funny part...its almost a joke as to wonder what the "great" front office is going to do next.

    Hill can not be the #5 starter for long. His last 2 outings haven't helped an incredibly overused bullpen. I'd like to see him get some more work in at Iowa..

    not to mention we've only had 1 winning streak i think of 7 games in the whole Dusty Baker era in Chicago. I've drawn my conclusion for that as well.

    just got home, cant say that i've missed much. Another bad day for the offense, not scoring in key situations and the bullpen sucked it up too. Are we ever going to win another game?

    this is like the Sunday Arizona game a few weeks ago...offense looks lifeless for the whole game, then they come out of nowhere for one inning.
