  1. Two hard hit balls in a row off of Rusch. This isn't looking good.
  2. Lopez with a shot right back up the middle.
  3. here's the Reds lineup: 1. R Freel, CF .273 3 10 12 2. F Lopez, SS .282 6 23 17 3. R Aurilia, 3B .273 7 23 1 4. A Dunn, LF .232 18 35 1 5. A Kearns, RF .282 12 38 2 6. S Hatteberg, 1B .293 3 14 0 7. B Phillips, 2B .312 5 34 11 8. D Ross, C .339 5 16 0 9. B Arroyo, P .156 2 6 0
  4. Arroyo homers once again off of Rusch leading the Reds to an 8-4 win.
  5. Serena already told me to start if it's not posted by midnight because I'm on deck. I have the thread ready though. Alright, good stuff. Get us a win.
  6. 10:15 and still no gamethread yet. If Tree or Uber don't start it by midnight, I have dibs on the start
  7. and the Jaxx lose 5-4. Atlee gave up 3 hits in the 9th and the eventual winning run to give Birmingham the win. Mathes pitched 7 innings and gave up 9 hits, 4 runs, 1 BB, and had 5 K's. Chris Walker was 2/4 with a triple, Nic Jackson was 2/4 with 2 doubles and 2 RBI's, and Dopirak was 0/3 with a BB.
  8. Peoria won 5-2. Blackford pitched 6 innings of 2 hit ball, allowing no runs, and had 4 K's. However, he did have 5 BB's. Scott Koerber picked up his 1st save of the season as he pitched a 1-2-3 9th. Jesus Valdez was 3/5 and Jake Muyco was 3/3. West Tenn was down 4-1 at one point, but they have tied it at 4 in the 8th.
  9. Well if Cincy holds on, they'll be tied for 1st with St. Louis. Cincy swept Houston @ Houston over the weekend and it looks like they could sweep the Cards @ St. Louis this week. That's a pretty impressive stretch for any team.
  10. Daytona lost 7-2. Billek gave up 5 runs in 4 2/3 IP and Blevins gave up 2 more runs in 2 1/3 IP. The only thing that saved Daytona from a shutout was Jake Fox's 13th homer of the year, a 2 run shot, to give Daytona their only tallies of the game. Another bit of good news was Ryan Harvey. He went 3/4 and pushed his average over the Mendoza line to .206.
  11. Billek's 1st start with Daytona has been rough. Through 4 innings, he has given up 6 hits, 5 runs, 1 BB, and 1 HR. He has 2 K's. Daytona is trailing 5-0 after 4.
  12. I don't think he's worth 14-15 million, but he's still a guy I'd definitely want to take a look at. He'd definitely help the power threat that our current OF's don't really have much of, with maybe the exception of Jones. His defense isn't great, but we've seen this year with the "great defenders" that Hendry prided himself on in the offseason. Wasn't he also pretty receptive to making a return to Chicago as well?
  13. Thanks for the 1st pitch outs Matt and Ronny.
  14. There goes the perfect game. Now to jinx the no-no.
  15. Sampson is throwing a perfect game. Please work jinx.
  16. Lane had a huge jump, but nice throw by Barrett takes care of him.
