If only the offense and Z came around, we'd be in pretty good shape. And really, really good shape if we'd let Gooz pitch instead of Miller. Exactly. Hopefully Gooz has a solid outing tonight.

5 run lead. Let the guy get his confidence back by, hopefully, having a good inning. He came in before when we had 5 runs at the beginning of the inning... Key word: beginning. The bases were loaded and it was only a 5-4 lead with no outs when he came in that game. This was the perfect time to get Ohman an inning to help rebuild his confidence.

There's an article on Cubs.com about it. Pie will more than likely stay in CF. It's the right move. Besides the fact that it creates another black hole in our offense? He's only had like 14 ABs or so. That's a fantastic way to judge how good of an offensive player he is.

Well said, Girardi. His defense is more than enough to keep him in the lineup and it's only going to be a matter of time before Pie starts hitting.

That's the right move there. That no-foul call when Gordon shot was just embarassing for the refs. Eh, I'm probably not going to agree with you on it. Yeah, BG isn't the best defender, but who knew a 3-point play was going to come out of it? I liked Thabo on Wade, but Wade was really burning Kirk towards the end of the game. Gordon got abused on that no-foul crap. Have to say though, there were far less star calls today than I saw from last year's series. Hopefully that continues.
