    I hate Posey, Wade, and Payton with a passion. But I don't hate them more than the Cardinals. They are definitely the team I hate the most in the NBA though. I don't watch the NBA, but why do you not like Wade? The main reason is because if you breath on him, it can be called a foul.

    I like Soriano, but I think it would've been an adventure on some of the hard hit flyballs if he were out there today. I can see/hope Jones getting traded within the next few weeks to a month from now.

    Probably because Thomas seemed like he was putting a ball in the seats everytime he was up in 2005 while Marquis had an ERA of over 6 last year.

    Just a completely arrogant statement. I love it when morons do this because they're, inadvertantly, making themselves look even worse when they say this. Yeah, Albert. He shut you guys down by getting away with some "lucky pitches." What does that say about your offense as a whole, especially you, by not hitting a guy that is getting "in trouble?" I really hate the Cardinals.

    Well with Guzman's bad outing tonight, Miller is probably staying in the rotation for at least the next couple of weeks. So he better be on his 'A-game,' whatever that might be.

    1 earned, 1 unearned. Al was not good today. Cougars were hitting .204 has a team and had lost 8 straight. Al had 7r, 4er, 8 h over 4ip. Ah, MiLB originally had him at 2 unearned runs. But they later corrected it. Still, a pretty bad effort from him today. Defense really didn't help him much either. Peoria now down 10-3 in the 6th. Meanwhile, Daytona is being blown out 9-0 in the 7th. Santo's final line: 4 IP, 5 hits, 4 ERs, 4 BBs, 1 K. Mueller has given up 5 runs, only 1 of which was earned, in two innings. No XBHs for the D-Cubs and only 4 hits total. Tennessee scoreless after 2. Iowa goes 1-2-3 in the top of the 1st. Guzman time.

    Completely false. That makes a lot of sense. See the post right below this yours. Not to mention that Pie gets amazing reads on balls and has a superb throwing arm; two things that Jones does not have. I don't know why people are calling for Pie and Murton's heads. It really makes little sense. This is about hitting not defense. You can't say that Pie is a better hitter right now than Jones because it just isn't true. The future is another thing altogether. Pie still needs to work on his hitting; he's not a finished product! I think it's safe to say that Jones' defense has cost us a game already this season. Spin it any way you want it, but Jones' defense sucks. The only problem Pie had in AAA was his lack of XBHs. That's pretty much the only thing he needs some polishing up on. Maybe continuing to work on his plate discipline, but I think his approach has been fine. An OF of Soriano-Pie-Murton would be the best option for this team.
