  1. Walking Rollins in front of Howard. Our pitchers are real good at doing that.
  2. Why is Provus announcing multiple innings now?
  3. Now is it safe for me to say that Hill is making this game interesting?
  4. yeah...all hill's fault. How isn't it? are you watching the game? Listening.
  5. Rich is doing his best to make this game interesting.
  6. Peoria loses 3-1. Papelbon's final line: 5+, 6 hits, 3 runs, 2 K's/1 BB. Wellington Castillo had an RBI triple and that was the only other hit for the Chiefs tonight, besides Leclerc's single.
  7. Daytona loses the opener of the twinbill, 7-2. Atkins only lasted 3 innings and gave up 6 hits, 6 runs, 2 K's/3 BB's, and gave up a homer. Matt Camp went 3/3 with a double and Clevenger and Dope were each 1/3. Not much else on the offensive end for the D-Cubs. Peoria down 1-0 in the bottom of the 6th. Good outing for Papelbon so far: 5 IP, 4 hits, 1 run, 2 K's/1 BB. The Chiefs only have one hit thru 6; a single by LeClerc (the batter that was sporting that nice line that Raisin mentioned). Felix has a single for Iowa and that game is scoreless thru 1 and 1/2. Tennessee scoreless in the 2nd as well.
  8. That combined line of .254/.292/.397 is so awesome. And it's even worse at SD: .250/.250/.321. No, I'm not a big Kendall fan, but I don't know how you can blame Kendall on that wild pitch. And Geovany Soto>>>>>>Barrett, Kendall, Hill.
  9. Rough 1st for Atkins: 3 hits, 5 runs, 1 K/2 BB's, 1 HR given up. 5-0 Palm Beach after 1.
  10. So a deal for someone like a Griffey is not out of the question yet! It's doubtful but that's what makes this game so fun it's the you never know situations. Griffey did clear waivers, IIRC, in 2005.
  11. Yeah, I'll say. Mateo, Holliman, Atkins, Papelbon, and maybe even Samardzija. That sounds pretty good :)
  12. I would do that deal in a heartbeat. As far as the Sox re-signing him, I have a hard time believing that Kenny Williams is that stupid. That would be the equivalent of us trading Pie for Laird. You're a team that is probably going to be rebuilding for a couple of years. The last thing you should do is re-sign an OF who's over 30 when you can net a very good return for him at the deadline.
