  1. looking at that lineup, i have a feeling that there will be a lot of piss-poor offensive outputs from tennessee this year. Sounds a lot like last year's team. Amazing start for the minor league teams. Add to the fact that one of our better pitching prosects got busted for taking the juice and it's a tremendous day all around.
  2. I think Sampson was some bum that beat us last year. Not surprising in the least. Win, losers.
  3. did Washington lose? Yeah, today. I guess they're 4 games into the season. EDIT: Also, just one winless team: Detroit. But I thought the Tigers had the best offense EVER. What gives?
  4. If the Blues win tomorrow...
  5. You of all people on this board should not be making something I say into a racial argument. And I know for a fact from your wishing bad things on him last year that you don't like Neifi one bit. Uh, what? No one liked Neifi one bit because he SUCKED. Not many people on here like Theriot because most of us know that Theriot is bad as well. But hey, as long as he tries hard everyday, that's what counts. Hey, maybe we'll luck into a World Series one of these years by just signing players that suck. But at least they'll give maximum effort everyday!
  6. We might get to my turn of the rotation by the start of next week the way this is going. Go Dumpster, etc.
  7. Just watching the highlights now. Soto looked like complete crap behind the dish today.
  8. Not only that, but what did they say 40% of our home games are in April and May, while 60% are in June, July, August, September? We better get our crap together now so that we aren't facing a slew of tough road games to gain ground back. I know, we have to play the Brewers, Astros, Cards, Reds, Pirates, Nats, Braves, Mets, Phillies, Marlins, Rockies, D-Backs, Dodgers, Padres, and Giants. We're screwed. It's the NL, last I checked.
  9. Screw all of this. I'm taking a nap.
  10. Amazing. One of our fastest players isn't even running on Jason Kendall. Wake the hell up, Lou.
  11. Of course, he gets the hit with 2 outs and nobody on. Well, at least the middle of the order will be due up next inning.
  12. We're fighting the Giants for offensive futility. Houston has 1 run in 18 innings. Against Petco and Peavy/Young. We've gotten shut down by Sheets, Mota, Riske, Torres and Suppan Is it really surprising though? I thought we'd all be used to this by now.

  14. Ah, it's always fun to watch old, decrepit Jeff Suppan shut us down.
  15. Brewers swung at every pitch except one that inning.
  16. After allowing a leadoff single to Renteria, Brian Bannister has retired nine in a row. No score after 3.
  17. local ESPNRadio just said Self, Gillespie and Tubby Smith were candidates. none of those make any sense at all (in terms of leaving their current jobs) Self does seeing as how he went to OSU. Maybe Tubby does too. Money talks and OSU has some pretty huge donors.
  18. Would they consider Majerus? I know he just got to St. Louis but I would have to think he'd take it if offered. Majerus was the first name that immediately popped into my mind.
  19. When's the last time Kaplan has been right about something?
