    That is so unbelievably untrue. while hyperbolic, i stand by the sentiment of my statement. Felix couldn't hit a ball with an oar up there today. he was flailing at everything. it was borderline painful to watch I realize that, but do you remember some of the ridiculous stretches that Patterson had?

    I was surprised to see Phillips go so early. Not surprised in the least that Dallas took Talib. So with the 30th pick in the Draft, the Green Bay Packers select Brandon Flowers, CB out of Virginia Tech. He'd make for a perfect nickelback and his physical style fits in very well with our extreme press coverage that we utilize.

    Tennessee won 3-2. Shaver got the win after pitching two scoreless innings of relief. Colvin went 1/4 with two strikeouts. Peoria lost 5-1. Blake Lalli went 1/4 with a double and an RBI and Mota was 2/4 with a double. Iowa took the 2-1 loss to New Orleans. Murton went 0/4. Patterson was a replacement late and went 0/1. Jake Fox was 1/4 with a double and an RBI. Not much offense tonight on the farm.

    If so, that's one hell of a guard. He is. To be fair, Kidd is a horrible shooter so it's not a surprise. And Jason's court vision and passing are amongst the best. But body type, speed while Kidd was in his prime, etc. are very similar. I'd take Rose over Beasley. To be fair, I told you how good he was a month and a half ago and got ripped for it. Good to see you have came to your senses. Rose should be the first pick in this draft. Power forwards are there every year, but a great point guard is there every 5-10. I would be shocked if Derrick Rose ever became any kind of transcendent player, which is what a better shooting Jason Kidd would be (Oscar Robertson). He might not, but I would be shocked if Beasley ever becomes a franchise player. At least a franchise player on a good team. Hell he barely was able to win 20 games in college. Shocked is the word you're using? He's a good low-post scorer and he's an awesome shooter from outside 14 feet. His touch from the FT line for a bigger guy is remarkable. He's a great rebounder and he's pretty fundamentally sound on defense. You also do realize that Beasley won a good amount of those games by himself, right? K-State had frontcourt talent, but their backcourt was miserable.

    Cardinals have a lot of tools to succeed on offense. On the defensive side? Not so much. This is a real easy pick. Michael Jenkins, CB out of USF.
