Laura gave me the go-ahead to start this if Mizzou didn't make the thread by noon. Pitching matchup: http://chicago.cubs.mlb.com/images/gameday/mugshots/mlb/282656.jpg Ben Sheets: 3-0, 0.96 ERA, 28 IP, 14 hits, 24 K's/4 BB's http://chicago.cubs.mlb.com/images/gameday/mugshots/mlb/150302.jpg Jason Marquis: 1-0, 3.47 ERA, 23.1 IP, 26 hits, 15 K's/9 BB's After losing 2 of 3 to the worst team in the National League, the Cubs set their sights on the Milwaukee Brewers. The Brewers come into this series after losing 2 of 3 at home to the Marlins. But the Brewers have something going for them. They have a good pitcher pitching tomorrow while the Cubs really don't. Rich Hill's spot in the rotation is getting skipped as Piniella believes that it's a guaranteed loss if the Cubs throw a lefty against the Brewers; never mind that it is April and that Hill is by far the superior pitcher between him and Marquis. Don't forget, Sheets' first start of the year was where he and Zambrano dueled on Opening Day as he held the Cubs to two hits in 6 1/3 innings pitched. Just don't lose, you stupid idiots.
