  1. How are either of these teams actually above .500?
  2. It's time to get a legit infield here and get rid of this Blanco character.
  3. The bunt was stupid. We can't hit anyway so we take the bat out of Kosuke's hands and hand them an out? This is frustrating. Jared Burton sucks, so Fontenot better come through here.
  4. Type in Crosby Dive on You Tube and you'll get about a hundred more... it's not like I had those specific instances memorized. Who the hell cares?
  5. Fox will definitely be trade bait at the deadline. I'm also all for the Ramirez at 1B and Vitters at 3B situation when we get to that.
  6. I remember the good old days when I could say Kirk Hinrich was the best white American player in the NBA. Yeah, that didn't really last all that long.
  7. That's what jumped out at me tonight; LA's defense was pretty good but Orlando missed a ton of open shots tonight. The odds of that happening two nights in a row are pretty low. That being said, the Lakers came out ready to play tonight as evident by the final score.
  8. I wouldn't endorse it at all, it makes absolutely no sense.
  9. Dear Cubs management, Please leave Vitters with Peoria for the next week. Thanks.
  10. I'll be very surprised if the Pens win a game.
  11. Lou's such a dumbass sometimes. This makes no sense whatsoever.
  12. Been saying this for soooo long now. I don't get that. Osgood was getting a whole lot of crap before the playoffs and he stoned us in five games and had a great Game 1 against the Pens. He deserves all of the credit he's getting and then some.
  13. Of course, but I don't think it's going to happen in Cleveland now.
  14. Congrats. Go Magic.
  15. Shaq as a secondary option is just as bad as Salmons. He turns the ball over at an incredible rate at this point in his career, he bogs down the entire lane and refuses to move (Hollinger believes he set an unofficial record last season for 3-second violations) and his perception of his own value has not appropriately declined along with his skillset. Pairing a 380-pound, 37-year-old center with bad knees who shows no motivation to improve his conditioning with a young, fast-break point guard makes zero sense. Zero. Even with the allure of his expiring deal, I still wouldn't do it. That doesn't make any sense. You'll have Shaq for only one season and it frees up Deng's awful contract. You can argue all you want about how Deng is a "stud." The real answer is that Deng (when healthy) is an above average player that won't be an impact player in this league. Period. And besides, it's not like we know Deng's going to play a lot next year anyway. He's made of glass and the Bulls did pretty damn good without him the last few months of the season. I know Shaq is broken down too but Deng didn't contribute anything to the team the last two and a half months of the season, when the team played its best basketball of the season. At least Shaq will give you another body down low and I'm sure guys like Noah and Tyrus would love to play next to a guy like Shaq for a season. But again, that's all secondary to the contract situation where the Bulls can be gigantic players in the 2010 market if we went through with this trade. I'm extremely puzzled at the fact that there are Bulls fans opposed to this.
  16. Now I know why I've been avoiding game thread's much more frequently this year. Pretty sad.
  17. Scales isn't bad. I swear to God, Lou better not PH for Fox.
  18. I'd be pissed. I'm just saying the Cavs were at worst supposed to play the Lakers/Nuggets competitively in the Finals and if they lose this game, they would lose in 5 games to a team that many believe is an inferior team to the Cavs. That includes blowing three gigantic leads at home in the blink of an eye to let the Magic back into those games. Obviously you have to give credit to the Magic, but this shouldn't be happening.
