  1. Thief! I, too, have a team called the Habitual Linesteppers in the A's board league. Ask BRS. :D I'd like to nominate the Playa Haters Ball from Season 1 as another which stands up to the better Season 2. The DVD outtakes from that sketch and Mad Real World are also well worth the price of admission. That's awesome, BRS. I watch all things poker on TV. Dood luck to Mike. I loved both of those skits. No love to Clayton Bigsby the black white supremacist? And Reperations? But yeah, the 2nd season has been much better. Wayne Brady, Rick James, Prince, all just crazy!
  2. Heh. Charlie Murphy is a genius! The True Hollywood Stories actually are true for the most part. Just a little exaggeration. BTW, my voice mail on my cellphone, I took from the end of Chappelle's show, "I'm rich, bitch!"
  3. World Series of Poker? Nope, don't follow it, but I saw the World Series of Dice on Chappelle's Show with Ashy Larry and Phyuck Yiu!
  4. How much of a reality were the rumors (before he was injured) of the Cubs thinking of getting Grudzielanek some games at SS to get his and Walker's bats in the same lineup? With an achilles injury, is it still a possibility?
  5. Any idea of the plan for Mark Prior when he returns? Will he do rehab in the minors and/or be on a strict pitch count when he rejoins the rotation? How worried are the Cubs about his longterm health?
  6. Jim Hendry has been very reluctant to trade top prospects in the minors, but seemingly had a short leash with Choi, Cruz, and Hill without given them a full-time starting job. I know the last 2 managers have been criticized for being "veteran-friendly", so do you think those trades had more to do with the Cubs giving up on those players who admittedly had down years or have those trades been influnced by the respective managers?
  7. The Cubs seem to have a pretty solid core of Lee, Wood, Zambrano, Prior, Patterson and possibly Ramirez, Sosa, and Barrett for at least the next 3 years. They have a great list of arms on the farm. Which direction do you think the Cubs are gonna take to fill the rest of the position slots (2B, SS, LF)? i.e. kids, such as Harris, Jackson, Kelton, Dubois or FA signing?
  8. YOU STALKER! Those are the last 4 digits of my phone number. Are you gonna get my zip code and address next?!?!? I know where you live, I know where you work, and I know which messages board you frequent. NOOOOOOOOOO! 8-[

  10. ' I talked to Wellemeyer (and Bobby Hill) a bit after a game last year on the Red Line. Welly did seem really shy and in awe that I actually knew who he was. I didn't talk to him all that much, because I didn't know what to say after he had given up 2 HRs in a 4-run 10th inning against Milwaukee just an hour or so before hand.
  11. Congrats Hoops! Well deserved!
