  1. Dunn is stronger than pretty much everyone else in the sports world.
  2. He didn't throw that badly. 93-94 most of the time, a couple 95 and 96.
  3. Crap. I haven't seen highlights yet. Ben Gordon has something special. The clutch thing is not a myth with him.
  4. Tried to lose it. Big win. Would have put the Bulls .5 away from the 7th seed with a loss. 100-96.
  5. Would you guys rather see the Bulls face Washington or Boston (assuming the Bulls don't get the 4th seed)? Now that I think about it, the 6th seed wouldn't be that bad. I'd rather take my chances against Boston and Detroit than Washington and Miami.
  6. Bulls should be primed to pass the struggling Cavs for 5th in the near future. The ultimate would be hosting a first round series. Unfortunately, Washington has pulled ahead by 3 games. BTW, everyone see that Tim Duncan is out for at least 4 weeks? No committment to the playoffs, either.
  7. Yup, the Bulls are world famous for their collapses. Man, the '90s were heartbreaking for me. How many chicago teams have made the playoffs since 2000? I'll give u a clue, its the same number of Boston teams who have won championships in that same time period What's the point? How many good teams have their been in Chicago since 2000? The 2004 Cubs were the only team expected to do anything. Not sure how a Cubs collapse means the city is full of collapses.

  9. Bulls get revenge on Milwaukee and end their 3-game losing streak. Hinrich finally shows up for the final period, scoring 12 in the 4th.
  10. Comeback- Richie Sexson (way down on fantasy draft boards) Breakout- Jeremy Bonderman IMB, Beckett for NL Cy Young! You with me?
  11. Well, that is the toughest place to play in the NBA, and the Bulls were a man short. That 2nd quarter put them in a hole. Hopefully, they can go out and sweep Milwaukee before going out west.
  12. It's official. Deng to the IR. Gonna be a tough stretch without Deng. 5 of 6 on the road. A probably unwinnable game at San Antonio, home and home vs. Milwaukee, and then a west coast trip. Only 1 game behind struggling Cleveland, and just 1 game ahead of Orlando.
  13. Hey, at least the Bulls are good enough to where we are upset, or even care about, a blowout loss. This time last year, the year before, the year before that, and the year before that.....I could care less by this point in the season.
  14. Can't win any vs. Houston, I guess. That's like 5 losses in a row by an average of about 20 each time.
  15. Couldn't watch much. The girlfriend wanted to watch a movie, "50 First Dates". What I did watch frustrated me (late 1st half). No defense, lazy in transition D, turnovers.
  16. Not so fast, only a 3 point lead. What the hell? Yahoo gamecast says its a final. Yahoo scoreboard said 102-98 final. But I knew that was incorrect, so I went to the gamecast, and it said 104-101 final.

  18. Who do you think they'll beat besides Charlotte. That's the 3 best teams in the conference aside from Detroit, and playing all 3 in 4 days is a daunting task. I really think that the Bulls can beat pretty much any team in the league on any given night. That's true of any team outside of the 10 win trifecta. Beating Miami, Cleveland, and Washington on it's own isn't a huge deal, but all 3 in 4 nights? IMO it'll be tough for them to pull one out. I don't really see how playing them on back to back to back nights will change anything. I think that they can take Cleveland and Washington. Miami will be though. I dunno. I can't see them winning in Cleveland the night after Miami and a plane out to Cleveland. Washington is their best shot IMO. Of course I'm a Cavaliers fan, but you can't argue with the results. Miami is very very good, and the Cavs have the 3rd best home mark in the NBA. With Cleveland not having a game the night before, the odds are really stacked against the Bulls to not start 0-2. Well, there's the first one. The hurt-a-Shaq worked!
  19. It's not too hard to read a little more between the lines. Contrast his comments on Guzman ("his future is in the rotation") with those on Ryu ("As to starter or reliever, that depends on our needs") and Hill ("In my mind he's a starter in AA this year, but he has to earn it."). Guzman's got nothing to prove to him except health; the other guys might get elbowed aside if they don't show enough. I agree, Fleita is positive about everyone, but more positive about some than others. The one big thing in this respect that I noticed was that he didn't seem "more positive" about Pinto. He doesn't mention Pinto as a possible top 5 guy. He doesn't mention him as a guy who could contribute this season. And when asked if Pinto was the best lefty, he threw Koronka and Valdez in the same class.
  20. I was geeked right off the bat. I'm surprised he expected Valdez to be in the majors this year, before the unfortunate comebacker. Ryu's velocity is great news, but Guzman is the best news for me. If he's 100%, he'll be around early in the season. Maybe not to start, but I can't see him staying down past May.
  21. Nice. He didn't back down from any questions and gave pretty good information on all the players asked about. You can really tell which guys the organization likes. Good to hear more positives on Angel's health. I'm ready for this season to start on all levels!
  22. and better than Kobe!
  23. Agreed. I'd like to know who gave the Jaxx stuff, I bet he's a cool guy  I HIGHLY doubt it. O:) Cool or not. He won't win the competition! :w00t: Nor will you! 8) It has been written. Therefore, it shall be done. BTW, who won last year's NSBB NCAA Tournament Challenge? Oh yeah, me. In the words of Jay-Z...."I WILL NOT LOSE!"

  25. Tim, you're lucky there are prizes for 2nd place. Because, there's no way I lose this! :werd:
