    If the ball is going back to the pitcher or popped up to LF, it's not a good pitch to hit. You should hit a linedrive on the first pitch, if you are gonna swing.

    Knicks actually moved into the worst record in the NBA by a 1/2 game too. A 7-seed and a #1 pick would be awesome.

    Nippert will be decent. And Micah Owings isn't too far back. Cruz is young enough to figure it out. Obviously, they still need a lot of help there, but if they can find takers willing to give up pitching for Gonzalez, Green, Clark, and Counsell....along with Young, they'll be on the right track.

    I picked Peavy (ERA title, K title, Cy is the next natural step), but Webb is my sleeper. If Arizona gets anything from any other starter on that team, they can make noise in the weak West. It would also help if they call up Drew to replace Counsell. 16 ground outs, 2 air outs, 2 strike outs. In colorado, no less. The man is a machine. "Here's a sinker - try to lift it." Got lifted quite a bit last year. That's not gonna happen again. I'd seriously be surprised if his ERA is over 3.2 ish.

    Oakland has the only ballpark I couldn't pick out of a lineup. BOB has the pool. KC has the waterfall, or whatever it is. Jake has the high LF wall and concourse Tropicana has ugly turf and a dome. Florida has the double round pillars on each corner and the whole thing is teal inside. Metrodome has trash bags.
