  1. The Big 12 was surprisingly very good this year. Surprisingly? They had the preseason 1, 8, and 9, not to mention 21 and 24. Texas and A&M didn't do as well as expected, but Baylor and KState picked up the slack. Pretty clear they were going to be the one of the top 2 conferences in football this year.
  2. Wow, my fantasy league is a mess right now. Anyone know what ESPNs tiebreakers are? #1 seed is going to go 10-3. #2 seed is going to be 9-4, but the crazy part is that he was 9-0 at one point and will actually finish with the 3rd fewest points scored in the league. #3 seed is whoever wins my division. There will be a 3-way tie for the division at 7-6. The other 2 teams are playing each other this week, and the team that won will have swept the season series (2 games) between them. I swept the 2 games vs. the team that will win that game, and I got swept by the team that will lose that game. But they both split with the 4th team in our division while I swept them so I should have the division and this seed, I would assume. 4-5-6 spots go to non-division leaders with best record obviously. But if Brees/Colston/Pettigrew outscore Sproles/Graham by more than 8, there will be (including my team) 6 teams tied at 7-6. And 5 teams tied for all 3 wildcard spots.
  3. When this regular season is over, the Bears best WR, RB, QB, best offensive lineman, and most talented offensive lineman will have missed about a combined 35 games.....including the latter 4 probably all missing the last 4 games.
  4. How was he not atrocious? Completed less than 1/2 of his passes, including missing several open receivers on SHORT throws. Even a couple of the sacks he should have gotten rid of the ball.
  5. This needs to be reiterated. The lack of depth has really destroyed us this year, not just at QB. Damage all across the OLine is a normal thing to expect on a football team, except last year, when we had almost no injuries at all. Two white safeties on the same field is inexcusable by the way, and should be a fire-able offense for a GM. This has been a problem for years. When the Bears are healthy, they win. When they suffer injuries, they lose. Many other good teams can overcome injuries with their depth, but the Bears certainly aren't one of them. The depth isn't that bad. The OL has played well at times, despite replacing 3 different positions. Graham has been a lateral move from Moore. The Bears had 4 starter quality safeties before they got rid of Chris Harris. They were Ok when Bennett went out. They were good when Hester was not playing offense. Not many teams can replace their QB late in the season and do anything. And no team can win without their QB, 2nd leading rusher in the NFL, 2 OL-men, SS, and nickel all in the same game.
  6. Last week he wasn't good, but did plenty of good things. This week he was flat out awful and didn't do anything well.
  7. Am I crazy or has Charlie Peprah literally been the worst player in the NFL this season?
  8. Well, Falcons lose. If the Bears come out of this game still as the 5th seed in the NFC, I'll be OK. At least until Tebow rapes us.
  9. And if he can hit a wide open Bennett he wouldn't have needed any of those other ones.
  10. Fake a punt. Have more confidence in Podlesh throwing it than Hanie.
  11. Go Texans, Saints, and ugh Packers.
  12. Need an Arizona MNF flashback.
  13. Call a [expletive] run play! No wonder your ass is getting let go after the season.
  14. Good play Peppers. Too bad you didn't make him fumble, kick the ball 20 yards and recover in the end zone.
  15. OMFG! I hate my life.
  16. Oh no, stopped a run. Better throw the ball. After all, the Bears are only averaging 10 yards per carry this drive.
  17. Spencer, helluva block there.
  18. I just wish Wilcots would just get it out the way and say, "BEARS BE TACKLIN'!"
  19. Seriously? Get that clown out of there. Take the one out of the broadcast booth too.
  20. change that, BS penalties.
  21. I swear he was at RT on that last play. I didn't see the number, but I saw dreads at the end of the OL.
  22. If I'm QB, the Bears are up 10-7 and still have the ball currently.
  23. Denver has fewer yards on offense than both the Chiefs had BEFORE that TD drive.
