  1. He's probably a better version of Todd Johnson, at this point.
  2. Interesting Tidbits from the Daily SouthTown: I think that Manning to a CB role makes sense down the road if we don't keep both Vasher and Tillman.
  3. Yup, I have the Bears at 6-10 because of the loss of Alphonso Boone and Todd Johnson.
  4. Looks like the Falcons made a fantastic move hanging on to Schaub when they were getting some offers for him.
  5. That is a ludacris statement, while I love Mike Brown, this team will not be 500 without him. How many games has he played the last 2 years, and yet the Bears are 24-8 duing the regular season. Last two years Bears 15-3 with Brown 9-5 without. For his career. The Bears are 45-40 with Brown and 13-14 without. When Brown went out last year our defense went from 1st to 13th. Then when Harris went out our defense went from 13th to 28th. How crazy was my statement? As goes Mike Brown so goes the Bears. 1) 9-5 is not .500(last I checked) 2) You can't count Brown's entire tenure with the Bears as some of those teams were very bad as a whole 1) You are also assuming the overall team this year will be as good as last year. IMO this is a 11-5, 10-6 team with Brown right now, and a 9-7, 8-8 team without. (as of right now, without draft, later fa signings, etc.) 2. No you cant, but the record shows that the Bears are a better team with him then without. I think you are wildly overating the impact of a single saftey. How do the Bears go from 13-3 (Edit: Duh) to 8-8 without a saftey who played 6 games last year?
  6. Brown will restructure. What else can he do?
  7. We could have a nice Saftey by committee. AA on rushing downs, Manning in on nickel packages.
  8. Big fan of this deal. Assuming they don't cut Brown, which I don't think they will.
  9. Well, it's not like Archuleta is that old-pay for his retirement? If he can get back to what he was doing his first few years he could play another 7 years easily. CCP, its not because of his age, its because he isnt an NFL player. He is, at best, one of the most intense personal trainers at your local ballys or a passionate special teams/strength conditioning coach at your local high school. He is not NFL worthy, he is awful, just awful. EDIT: as of right now I mean. I think you are over doing it here. I'm pro signing AA if he is cut and is willing to take a reasonable deal. Saftey depth is a major concern and AA would be a solid addition to the saftey rotation.
  10. The rarely used "self eye roll"....good play. It's a love hate realtionship, really.
  11. Tucker is doing his best to carry the entire team yet again.
  12. Tenn has 95 points with 8:30 left in the game. The Anti-Wisconsin.
  13. Dear Wisconsin, Please don't lose in the first round of the tourney to a 15 seed while only scoring 30 points for the game. Thanks in advance, Chocolate Milk
  14. Kamron Taylor sucks.
  15. Ball goes THROUGH the hoop.
  16. Wisconsin has trouble putting the ball in the hoop.
  17. lol http://images.sportsline.com/images/collegebasketball/players/60x80/525002.jpg
  18. I don't understand how people don't see what the problem is. Not only that, I'm not really inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt that he's telling the truth about "always" betting on the Reds to win.
