  1. I don't think the Red Sox have picked yet, guy.
  2. I wish I was watching the interview. I guess you don't really need to be some kind of genius to hit a ball with a stick.
  3. Yeah, I want Wieters but I have no idea what I'm talking about.
  4. Oh well...LA DE DA!
  5. Hopefully he doesn't have to go to the DL. Stupid hustling, but at least all the jackass sports djs and and baseball know-nithings will be happy. If he was more used to hustling, he wouldn't get hurt every time he actually does hustle.
  6. congrats! what's your job? Similar to what I'm doing now, yet different. It's in hedge fund administration. Accounting stuff. I'm putting my English Literature degree to great use! Woo...I'm interviewing for an analyst position at a hedge fund. Investing? If so, you are a better man than I.
  7. congrats! what's your job? Similar to what I'm doing now, yet different. It's in hedge fund administration. Accounting stuff. I'm putting my English Literature degree to great use! My grad degree in English got me a job in financial research. I love the job, by the way. Really? That's pretty interesting. My English degree usually raises some eyebrows during interviews. Probably my least favorite question to answer in an interview.
  8. Good Luck. Good luck. Thanks guys! I wanted to wish you luck as I have been interviewing a lot in the last couple weeks. It can be really tedious and high stress. Best of luck. Yeah, it has been tedious and stressful. Good luck to you too! Actually, I just got an e-mail 5 mins ago offering me the job I was interviewing for. I'm extremely happy and I am going to get VERY drunk tonight. About time one of you slackers on this site got a job. Just kidding, good luck on your move from Fantasy Land (i.e., college) to the real world. I actually graduated in 2004 and have been working for a little while. My current job is basically a dead end and I'm thrilled to be out of here.

  12. No. Why not, he always gets on a base. Soriano doesn't get hot til late in the game. you are confusing me. Pie gets hits early in the game. Soriano waits til late in the game to get his hits. At least that is what I have noticed. I would rather have Pie in the leadoff spot. For his career, Soriano hits: .297/.350/.527 in innings 1-3 .282/.326/.538 in innings 4-6 .281/.331/.476 in innings 7-9 What is Pie hitting? .316/.316/.421 in innings 1-3 .438/.438/.875 in innings 4-6 .077/.111/.077 in innings 7-9 Then again, Pie only has about 20 PA in each slot, so you can't take too much from his numbers. Uh-oh. Looks like he may be ANTI-CLUTCH.
