  1. I'm not interested in having to rebuild Culpepper. He's missed a lot of time and any team that takes him is going to deal with some issues early on when he starts playing. Also, his knee injury was very serious and I'm not sure if he'll ever return to the form we remember. So you'd have to wait out some growing pains for a guy who may be damaged goods. Basically, I feel you'd have to make a little bit of a commitment to Culpepper in order for it to work. I don't think you could just throw him in in the middle of the season if your first option craps out. I don't think that's going to work. He might be a good risk for someone, but I don't think he really fits with the Bears right now.
  2. IBB  Gotta lay off those outside pitches.
  3. Nice patience by Soriano with the walk.
  4. Sounds like the Braves pitcher is a meathead.
  5. Here is a Vitters bio that includes a link to a scouting video. Perhaps it will spark some discussion. I really don't know much of anything about this kid. http://www.minorleaguebaseball.com/milb/events/draft_report/y2007/index.jsp?mc=vitters
  6. Yikes on Rich's Ipod. My sister loves the Saw Doctors, though.
  7. Barrett also told Lou he'd play SS or 3B.
  8. Looks like his hammy still isn't 100%.
  9. I can vouch that he plays the game the right way. I saw a clip and he appeared to be running the bases in the correct order. He also points towards the outfield when hitting and catching.
