    I love him at 3rd string and special teams, not as the primary backup. Agreed. Love the guy, but not sure if he'd be as productive in full time role.

    That would certainly be interesting. Would they carry 4 RB's? I think he would be good insurance in case of a Benson injury (I think he'd do a better job than Peterson would) but do the Bears have space to roster him? Peterson and Wolfe are both likely special teams players, which helps with roster issues. I don't think 4 RB is overkill, as long as the guys are contributing. That's true. If the Bears could get him for a reasonable price, I think it would be a good move. He's shown he can produce when healthy and I think he'd be a much better option than Peterson if something happened to Benson.

    I have to admit that I was a bit (well maybe more than a bit) ignorant when I first joined the board. I remember having an discussion with a couple people about Kerry Wood where I argued that Wood wasn't that great because he never got 15 wins a season. I was like a child that wandered into the middle of a movie. But I have seen the error in my ways and now I would never dare make that argument. I actually went back and read some of my early posts. Boy were some of them stupid. I almost slapped myself for some of them. We've all been there, my friend. You've been assimilated.

    I didn't always like soccer10k. But after a time I grew to love him. With that love came an erection but also respect. I respect soccer10k and everything he represents.
