  1. Let's just take JJ and toss him in a dumpster outside the stadium.
  2. Yeah, that was key. That fly ball to the outfield was a good reason to take our best hitter out of our terrible lineup.
  3. Eckstein walked? Now but the two guys before him did. without Eckstein's single that run doesn't score What's your point? Without the walks. No one's on base. wrong, Eckstein's on base hahahahaha

  5. Come on. Hector Luna sucks just get him out. Walk. Pujols will hit this to the moon.
  6. Glendon is looking to go yard here. Edit: I mean next inning.
  7. Dusty has shown some creativity in the lineup this year. Not too shabby other than Murton/Jones.
  8. I am feeling pretty good about the deal. Manning is an ideal nickle back in the Cover 2. He will easily be an upgrade over Azumah(At least his play last year). Nickel Back is a very important position in Lovie's D. The NB in the Bears D is on the field a lot. The NFL in general overvalues draft picks. The draft is largely a crap shoot and for every Lance Briggs in the 3rd there are 20 Torrence Marshalls. The chances of us getting a player of Manning's caliber in the 3rd were pretty slim. Therefor there isn't much risk here and I see it improving the team. Not an outstanding deal, but one that will improve the team.
  9. I'm actually sick of waiting. The NFL does a great job of capturing the attention of the masses all year long. They freaking had a live unveiling of next year's schedule. But I believe this is the latest we've waited for a draft, at least in a long time. It's usually in mid-April. I can't remember it ever being this late in the year. I thought it was always last weekend in April. Yep. 23-24th last year, 24th-25th in 04. I thought it was the 17th or so a couple years ago. Anyway, the Bears sign Manning to an offer sheet. http://www.chicagobears.com/news/newsDetail.jsp?id=15041 How do you guys feel about this move? COnsidering we will be paying him and losing a 3rd rounder, either they really must be high on this guy or who knows. Just seems pretty steep to me. Apparently the management wasn't so hot on him but the coaches persisted.
  10. I think Lee comes in and hits 2 one armed home runs.
