  1. He's insanely fast and going to the same school as other busts means nothing. I still don't want him. I don't covet him, but if he's there and we take him, I won't be too upset.
  2. Why does traits (t-r-a-i-t-s) get autocorrected to Rusch?
  3. He's insanely fast and going to the same school as other busts means nothing. I'm not saying he's guaranteed to be bad, but when you consistently have WR's from a school drafted and being busts, you have to question whether or not the system(I understand they've changed regimes, but principally it's been similar) masks their flaws. Everyone says stuff like that but I'm not sure how two completely different people with different physical traits (I swear I typed traits here) will turn out the same because they went to the same school. Penn State running backs used to be thought to all be busts. How's that working out now? Anyway, Jackson is a physical specimen and that's largely what makes up his draft stock.

  5. It's possible. Holmes and Chad Jackson are still available. Kiper has us taking Chad Jackson.
  6. Bah, I guess it was a pipedream that he would fall to us.
  7. Marcedes Lewis. :D Yeah, he could be there for their second pick...
  8. Wow, someone key could drop to the Bears.
  9. Cleveland will pick a DT. Some good players fell right in their laps. I would laugh about the Browns. They have had a very good offseason.
  10. Marcedes Lewis. That is all. He'll probably be available in the second. At the 57th overall though? I see a huge difference between Lewis and some of the other guys like Klopfenstein, Pope, and Fasano. I don't feel the need to take a CB in the first round anymore with the signing of Manning. I really don't see much difference between Pope Lewis, and Fasano. I would be happy if we got him, but it wouldn't rock my world.

  12. Sims isn't that much of a reach.
  13. Hrm, maybe a Jimmy Williams or Chad Greenway will fall to da Bears.
  14. Whitner is good but that's about 15 picks higher than people expected him to go.
  15. WOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW!!!
  16. It would be funny if the Bills grabbed Lienart. L.A. Hollywood boy in Buffalo NY? Priceless!
  17. I'd also like to say now that I hope the Bears trade out of the first to the top of the second. That way they can recoup their 3rd rounder.
  18. Leinart falling like a rock. I wonder where he lands?
  19. Bush is on ESPN radio. He seems like a really good dude. One thing he said he was excited about is being able to do lots of charity work in New Orleans.
  20. Solid picks by the Packers and 9ers.
  21. Brady Quinn could've won three straight REAL titles IMHO. Please stop. Win a bowl game first. Give Quinn USC's talent and he does much better than Leinart, I'm not talking about ND's team. Let's end this silly homer talk before it takes over this thread. A question was asked and I offered my speculation. If you don't agree fine, but don't flat out tell me I'm wrong, since you have no damn clue what would have really happened had Quinn or anyone else gone to USC. Wild speculation like that serves absolutely no purpose. Which I was refering mostly to. Feel free to overreact though.
