From the way Lee has looked at the plate lately, a day off will probably do him some good. That being said, Jones and Izturis should not be in the lineup.

I think you guys are forgetting that Maholm is a lefty. That's an automatic loss for the Cubs.

I think he's basing this on Lee's recent struggles. Sure, his overall numbers are good, but in his last 10 games, he's 7-35. That's a .200 batting average. Only 2 RBI in that span, too. That's not good. He's also hitless in his last 10 at-bats.
