    LOL You JUST got home? I'm guessing he just got up... after passing the hell out whenever it was he got home. Yes this. The part that sucks is I barely remembered the come back. I had to re-watch it this Morning. We sat by the most annoying group of guys I've ever experienced. They were there for a bachelor party and none of them even cared about the game. They didn't even know who Fukudome was? They just laughed at the name...But the worst part is they kept switching seats, and by the 6th inning I had enough and told them to sit the f--- still! We were thisclose from a full on brawl, but at least they kept still for the rest of the game. Going a little off-topic here, but I hate having to kick people out of my seat at baseball games. I had to do it TWICE at the last game I went to. I swear some people come in and just sit down wherever they feel like.

    Why are you finding it hard to believe? The Dodgers have been playing much, much, much better than the D'Backs lately. It's no fluke that they've opened up a good lead.

    The Brewers have a better bullpen ERA than the CUbs. I wonder how much lower the Cubs' bullpen ERA would be if Lou didn't insist on trotting Howry out there all the time.

    What is it with idiot players on other teams trying to act tough against the Cubs this year? First we had Javier Vazquez saying he wasn't afraid of the Cubs lineup after they had just scored 11 runs against the White Sox. Then we've had various members of the Brewers proclaiming that they will catch the Cubs. Now Felipe Lopez acting like an idiot. What's the deal?

    fixed. You didn't fix it completely. The only way Harden isn't with the Cubs next season is if they trade him, and if they trade him, Hendry needs to be executed.

    Uhh...when? How can this idiot hold our season hostage? Let's just make the games meaningless and not play them at all The Astros might still need to play them. Also, very very superficial, but it would suck to end the season like 94-65 and not get a chance to reason our generation's high in win total. Would love to save 27 or so innings from our pitching staff. But if this has an effect on HFA would they still be played after the season? Didn't something in this thread say they would be played if necessary for "playoff positioning?" I would think HFA would fall under that.

    Al and Dan have been pretty tolerable tonight. Surprisingly. The opposing team's announcers are always easier to listen to when the Cubs are winning. ;) The Pirates announcers were pissing and moaning at Wrigley when the Cubs were winning and they didn't want to have to hear "Go Cubs Go". OK. Insert usually for always.
