Soriano - Stikes out too much on pitches in the dirt Theriot - Hitting .250 since July Lee - GIDP Machine Ramirez - prone to 0-25 slumps Soto - made Samardjiza give up 4 straight singles in the 6th inning DeRosa - boots DP grounders Fukudome - hit like .100 since the break Fontenot - too small Blanco - too many tatoos Edmonds - an [expletive] Reed Johnson - will probably kill himself trying to make a play; a lawsuit waiting to happen Cedeno - No baseball IQ And that's just the hitters That was good.. the people behind me at work looked at me when I laughed :D

    I hear you. There was absolutely no reason to make this move unless something else is going on. You know other teams have scouts that can go to Iowa to check out Murton if their team is interested in him, right? Right now, getting to/around Iowa is a bit difficult... Only if you are driving into Des Moines from the east or north. If you are flying or coming from the west its pretty much business as usual.

    Having him not bunt with 2 on and no out.. Dusty Bakerish You don't know Dusty Baker. Not meaning dusty would have done that, just it was as stupid as what he does. In that situation, a succesful sac at least gets us to Lee with a runner or runners on. Letting Epat hit against a sinker ball pitcher is inviting a double play.

    You all are insane. For two innings that is pretty neat. Deal with it. I think we could all handle the black and white but the camera angles show you nothing. You really have no idea whats happening in the game So you are just like the umpires but they have a better view and get paid for it?

    It's the camera angles. They are using a camera in the upper deck down the 3rd base line. You can't see where the pitches are. I would argue that you can't really see where the pitches are with any accuracy from the normal camera angle, it just fools us into thinking we can :) So the normal camera angles are really part of the matrix?

    There shouldnt be a problem with the airport. It is far enough away from any water to be ok. It will be busy though as we have NCAA track and field championships being hosted in Des Moines through the 14th.
