    anyone notice the outfield for the Dbacks. Shawn Green playing center and Chad Tracy in right? I know they DFA'd Cruz but I thought they had other centerfielders.

    reading more on the ESPN board, the guy that started the thread about kearns said he did it to get under some guys skin over there and there was no truth to it, so it was BS as everyone thought.

    sweeeeeeeeeeeeet emotiooonnnnn :lol: hopefully you are referring to the poster on the ESP board as I in now way stated I knew anything about a deal happening. I was just passing along info I seen on another board. Info that others here would have seen sooner or later anyway. In addition, the proposed trade has already been in the paper as being disussed, so it's not like it's anything new. I believe it's probably BS to. But all rumors ar until they happen. no, i wasn't ragging on you, just making fun of the rumors that fly fast and furious around the trade deadline. sweetemotion was the guy who passed on the dunn trade rumor from his "source," on NSBB the other day. it's one thing to pass info and note that it is a rumor and another to pass off info from some mysterious "source" that is somehow in the know when no one else is (you being the former case :wink: ). Agreed, I read most of the 50+ pages about Dunn, so I certainly did not want to come off sounding like I knew anything was going to happen. I certainly don't. All my baseball insight comes from reading those here that are informed.

    I just seen on the ESPN board that someone is trying to state that Kearns for Welly, Mitre will be announced later this afternoon. He cites a Cincy poster going off about it as his source. **disclaimer, I am not saying this happened, just passing along what I read**

    Any guess at runs scored? I am saying 5-3 Cubs win, Dusty feels smart. Cubbie from TX in AR Depends wind blowing out- Cubs win 4-1, blowing in -Cubs win 2-1. Sadly enough, this is a good point. Our poor pitchers really never know what they are going to get and probably go out there trying to pitch perfect because of it. Cubbie from TX in AR Well it looks as if it is blowing across left to right, so that screws both my theories up.

    if they both got hits back to back, Lee would probably faint at the sight of two potential RBI's not including the pitcher being on base

    its these kinda days that we come out and everyone hits (except corey) and we score lots of runs. Anybody think we put Corey at leadoff just to get him out of the way early and not later like 6 where he could potentially end a rally?

    question: if a pitcher leaves a tie ballgame with runners on base and they score, the pitcher who was responsible let the runners on base would get the loss or no? A friend and I were talking about it last night, he said it could be either pitcher. Wasn't real clear from the rules.
