Yes, they'd really call it. That's exactly what the rule calls for, assuming the rain persists all night. how did the yanks/os game get suspended? they started in the 8th tonight. was that rain or what was the reason they suspended that game? And remember the suspending game in Pittsburgh earlier this year? Being the first game of the series, I can't imagine they'd just call it. If the Cubs hadn't scored four runs to take the lead in the top of the inning that game got called, it would have been game over, Cubs lose. Taking the lead without giving Pitt a chance to retake it in the bottom of the inning was the reason they suspended that one. Bingo

there's some funky rule about that, it's not like they can just "decide" to suspend a game based on future scheduling. 2-1 loss 3.0 GB, that sucks
