Cub fans assume the worst? Seems pretty obvious it's conceding defeat. 6-1 with Looper on the mound is not out of reach. Petrick put it out of reach.

Why is everyone assuming that ARam is out? Just a possibility if he's hurt... putting DeRosa in would be better than cedeno obviously but if neither aram or floyd can go, it's a forfeit lineup basically.

+1 boy it's a bad sign when i'm becoming the voice of reason somebody has to suck it up and do it. it's getting extremely bi-polar around here. but then again, i guess it always has been. life of a cub fan. The normal atmosphere around NSBB is negative but we have nothing little to complain about when the Cubs are winning. ;)
