A cluster of thunderstorms, some capable of downpours, threatens as the day begins. A second cluster of scattered storms may develop later this morning into midday, then increase in coverage while settling south into the southern suburbs and into northern Indiana. Some severe storms possible. Though passing downpours may accompany any of the heavier thunderstorms, there will be rain-free hours. Precipitation should end altogether from the northwest beginning this afternoon. Rainfalls averaging 0.50 to 1 inch are possible, but locally heavier totals can't be ruled out. Warm, humid conditions dominate this morning but gradually yield to drier air this afternoon and evening as brisk 11 to 22 m.p.h. southwest winds shift west and then northwest at 11 to 23 m.p.h. Cooler and becoming much less humid Saturday night. Clouds diminishing. Clear skies late. http://weather.wgntv.com/US/IL/Chicago.html Trying to be somewhat optimistic here, but at the very least, I guess this could turn into a night game?
