  1. Good guy to face for Fonzie's return, Soriano's 5 for 14 with a HR off Davis. Soriano Fukudome Lee Ramirez Soto DeRosa Johnson Theriot Lilly That's better (although Davis is a LHP, so Theriot or Johnson will probably bat 2nd) WIN PLEASE
  2. http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r122/PhxSuns13/output.gif
  3. If Petit throws strikes tonight, the D'Backs will win because the Cubs don't get any breaks on hard it balls, they are horrid on the road, and Marquis sucks. Boy, I sure am optimistic! :)
  4. I don't mean to clog up the board with threads from last night, but this applies overall. At times Bob Howry looks lights out, but he always seems to give up a few hits or a run in a meaningful spot. Lou is gonna keep using him in crucial spots which is gonna be painful to watch. Even last year during his hot stretch, I didn't trust the guy at all. Anyone else feel this way? I don't think I'm alone.
  5. He's gone oppo a few times though
  6. Terrible analysis Lee isn't "no where near" Pujols Ramirez > Glaus Why are you comparing Soto and Ankiel? Soriano and even current Edmonds might be better or at least equal to Ludwick
  7. At least one of the Brewers or Cards will HAVE to lose coming up next series, then again one of them has to win as well. :( Aaron Miles? All you can do is laugh. And of course Lincecum isn't lights out against the Brewers. duh.
  8. Soto probably gets an off day today Ramirez and Lee go yard today and the Cubs finally win.
  9. Z picked off Milton Bradley. Final score was 4-3. Oh thanks I remember Ichiro getting a single so I assumed he was the one picked off. But you're correct. PO: Bradley (1st base by Zambrano).
  10. Theriot, Dempster, and Jim Edmonds (we signed him in mid May, btw) No one really, sometimes Lilly and Fukudome lately. Marmol has also struggled (probably due to his overuse) Since we got Harden already, not really. There have been rumblings about Fuentes for a BP arm. Yes. Soriano is in his 2nd stint on the DL in 2008. He's aiming to return next Thursday. Fukudome and Soto both went 0-2. Ramirez drew a walk in his 1 AB and was lifted for Christian Guzman  . Zambrano pitched 2 scoreless innings and picked off Ichiro. Marmol and Dempster pitched scoreless innings as well. Wood/Soriano did not play due to a injures. AL won 5-4 in 15 innings. Overall, the Cubs have played far beyond expectations this season, but have struggled lately, and their road play is worrying everyone right now. The Cubs sit 2 games ahead of the Cards and 3 ahead of the Brewers. I think I covered it all. ;)
  11. Don't worry about the Marlins, the games are at Wrigley I'll be surprised if we get a hit in Arizona
  12. Maybe it accidently hits your hand, fractures it and you miss 6 weeks? Wasn't it a slow curve ball?
  13. Why am I still watching? Even if the Cubs score 3, I still feel there's a 90% chance of a loss.
  14. Maybe one day he'll pull something that would be endlessly hilarious
  15. Hahaha, this one's even better Thanks for the smile, I needed that Fontenot = priceless
  16. Where have you been anyway?
  17. Matt Craig goes yard for Iowa Just searching for something good...
  18. What do past teams (with completely different players) have to do with this team? You must be young. What kind of answer was that? What do past teams have to do with this team? Do you believe in curses? Santa Claus? Monsters? He misinterpreted your post
  19. What a crap game and series David Newhan and Darin Erstad
