  2. He can hit the ball well and we're desperate. That's enough for me - if he doesn't cost an arm and a leg. *cough cough* JAKE FOX
  3. You people really think the Marlins are gonna trade Cantu?
  4. Dream all you want guys, but Ryan Freel is gonna be our starting 3B until Aramis gets back.
  5. Trading with the O's? Unheard of. Freel's currently on the DL, btw.
  6. I would officially join the Red Sox hate train if this happened. And I'd also LOL when Milledge hit a walkoff HR.
  7. El Cab, I've been pretty busy lately so haven't had tons of time to watch highlight shows, but I see the Brewers are on quite a run right now. What about the team is working so well right now? Is the offense clicking, the starting pitching stepping up, or a little of both? Should be an entertaining series. The Cubs probably had the upperhand in all 3 pitching matchups the first series, and now the Brewers might have the upperhand in all 3 matchups this series. The Brewers starters are I belive 2nd in the NL in Quality Starts (For whatever you take QS for). Hoffman has not given up a run yet as a Brewer and is 4/4 in save opp. But the offense has been pretty good as well.. Weeks is hitting well, Braun is hitting well, Fielder is pretty good, Cameron is OPSing over 1.000. Hardy has started out cold is starting to turn it around having a good week. We are cashing in with RISP. And we are finding ways to win close games (Again for whatever you take that worth). And it also helps that we have played the Pirates 5 times recently. Basically are starters are doing a good job of keeping us in the game. Bush is 4/5 this year in QS. He always has one blow up inning (Last Sunday he gave up 3 solo shots in the 8th). EDIT: Oh and Cameron has been playing un-real defense this year (not trying to just talk him up, obviously he is a good defender) Not to mention their last 15 games have been against Arizona, Pittsburgh, Houston, and Cincinnati
  8. Kinda funny how we don't score in these spots and we still end up winning. Mlb.tv on the other hand is not funny. Random permanent freeze again. Ugh!
  9. Aramalamadingdong was the old Aramis HR call when he was with the Pirates.
  10. It sucks that Lee is hurt again after starting to heat up but anything that gives Hoffpauir more ABs is a good thing.
  11. I'm 99% sure this happened to the Giants last year.
  12. Cubs lose 1-0 on a Hampton HR despite the fact that he only lasts 4 innings.
  13. We're done if a 4th run crosses. well here's the BP it's over anyway
  14. It's not you. It's because of the 575 DPs that Derrek grounded into last year. I always figured that Lee grounded into those because Lou called them all the freaking time. http://www.icanhasforce.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/star-wars-darth-vader-sense.jpg
  15. Funny part is, besides Z, we really don't have injuries anymore. Just a day off for the regs (all at once)
  16. Congrats Cobs, on a day when you are facing Lincecum, you have still managed to lower my expectations.
